Every Groundhog has its Day

The groundhog is the largest sciurid in North America ranging from 16 to 30 inches long (an average 6 in tail) and 4 to 9 lbs or more when well-nurished. They are covered by two coats: an undercoat of dense grey color, and spiky guard hairs on the outside. Groundhogs are known for hibernating and are natural burrowers and somewhat aggressive by default, but one of their common aliases gives us the playful tongue twister: "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck..."
