The Symptoms of Heat Disorders and Summer Weather Safety

Sunbun - Skin redness and pain, possible swelling, blisters, fever, headaches.
(First Aid): Take a soapy shower, if blisters occur apply dry sterile dressings and seek medical attention.

Heat Cramps - Painful spasms usually in leg and abdominal muscles. Heavy sweating.
(First Aid): Firm pressure on cramping muscles or gentle massage to relieve spasm. Give sips of water. If nausea occurs, discontinue.

Quilt Exhibit @ the FFB Education Center

The FFB Education Center will be hosting a quilt exhibit running from June 30th to July 15th.

Do you have a family heirloom quilt that has beauty and a story?  We would be proud to have it on display at the Education Center for our Quilt Exhibit. 

Each quilt will be carefully staged along with a story of the origin and maker.  Let us help you write your 500 word story and present your handcrafted treasure.
